Reimagining Education with XR Technology
Question What’s Real (QWR) is using Extended Reality (XR) to transform conventional learning methods. The company's VRone.Edu headsets offer immersive modules of the NCERT curriculum for K-12 students.
Focus on Accessibility
QWR is focused on Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, as well as remote areas. The company has reached over 200,000 students across 19 states with VR-based learning in government and private schools. From Mumbai, Delhi and Jaipur to Patna, Ranchi, Dehradun and Raipur, QWR is working to ensure students have access to learning.
Sensory Learning
According to QWR founder Suraj Aiar, the company aims to redefine teaching by connecting theoretical knowledge with practical understanding, enabling students to learn with all five senses. QWR’s modules offer experiences like stepping inside a human heart to understand its mechanics, rather than just reading about it in a textbook.
Alignment with Initiatives
QWR aligns with initiatives like NEP 2022, Samagra Shiksha Yojana, and SDG-4 by making AR/VR education accessible, affordable, and scalable.
Making Learning Real
QWR addresses the disconnect between digital natives and traditional classrooms by making learning feel real through VR modules for Kindergarten to XII grade. They also plan to create modules for fields like engineering, medicine, mechanics, and architecture.
Future Plans
QWR aims to revolutionize learning in defense, upskilling, and higher education. They have launched the QWR ISV Program to empower developers to build for their hardware. Founded in 2017, QWR designs and manufactures AR/VR hardware for education, defense, healthcare, and Industry 4.0, with the goal of building India’s first end-to-end XR ecosystem.
